    • 2.      What we need
    • ·         Functioning website with in-house data-base management capacity including newsletter, member communications, calendar, events management, member accounts, and volunteer coordination platform.
    •
    • ·         Reviewing Wild Apricot platform.  Recommended by Dan Taylor of Collaboration Labs for an organization our size.  Graduated ongoing monthly fee starting at $25/mo. for up to 250 database members.  Platform can handle up to 1,000 members before "outgrowing" its economic capacity.
    • ·         Dan Taylor's estimate for getting the platform up and running plus on-site training is $735 plus the option of one-hour's ongoing monthly management assistance for $70/mo as needed.
    • ·         Start-up Business Plan
    • ·         Start-up Capital Campaign
    • ·         3 year budget
    • ·         Mission activity plan

    •
    • 3.      Organizational Structure and Management:
    • ·         Mission/Message:  We've always known our mission is to actively befriend everyone with special attention paid to reaching individuals with mobility impairments; simply because it increases everyone's vitality.  Our Corporate purpose has been to bring some organization and structure to a beneficial process that occurs commonly but randomly – individuals with significant mobility impairments live vitally, with a little help from their friends.  We haven't been able to message the what, how, where, and why particularly effectively.  The budgeting process has clarified several issues and four Key Words have emerged that resolve our mission/message issues and creates a pretty marvelous three dimensional organizational structure from a business management viewpoint.
