The primary purpose of this posting is to open discussion on activities for 2015.  I'll begin with a quick review of highlights that advanced our mission in 2014.  Then over the coming days and weeks will compose our first newsletter from that discussion.

NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHED.  We've found a web host, Wild Apricot, that provides the organizational management tools we need at this point of our development.  We have the capacity to perform database management function, plan and manage events, and generally communicate with our membership efficiently.  We're ready to take the next step; developing content that our members can use to maintain and improve their vital.

SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION;  Our day at APEX Recreation Center with LIM359 was so successful we're going to do it again this summer.  More than 50 individuals shared in the celebration.  Folks played pickle ball, swam, skated, ate good food, and talked to one another.  APEX was delighted to have us but thinks we'll need a bigger room this year.

4800 PERRY PICNIC BLOCK PARTY:   Neighbors gathered for the first time in nearly ten years to have burgers, brats, and get to know one another as part of Denver Days 2014.  More than half the households participated and nearly all signed on the Street Closure Petition for the required permit.  The City waives fees and insurance requirements for block parties during Denver Days.  Registration for Denver Days 2015 just opened on March 16 so this year's planning is already underway.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBER SUPPORT:  We provided limited housing and nutrition support for two of our veterans and arranged private swimming lessons for an 8 year old amputee.
